ECONOMIC GROWTH
Guyana has the fastest growing economy in the world following Exxon Mobil’s discovery of an estimated 18.7 billion barrels of recoverable oil and gas. The Guyanese government has earmarked key infrastructure projects including road expansions for the interior in which G2 expects to drill in the coming months. Guyana is supportive of foreign direct investment (FDI) and has a favourable operating climate.
