Guiana Shield – Significant Evidence of Gold Mineralization
Oko Aremu District
“In Guyana we own a 100 percent interest in two under- explored, past producing gold mines. We are leveraging our 25 years of in-country experience to build the best exploration company in the country. We will continue to create value for shareholders by systematically and rigorously exploring at our operations through our planned exploration campaigns. We continue to evaluate additional properties in jurisdictions across the Americas. Ultimately, our goal is to discover the next 5 million ounce gold deposit.”
Patrick Sheridan, Executive Chairman
The Puruni District is located within the Cuyuni-Mazaruni Region of Guyana, characterised by tropical Amazonian rainforest. The Puruni River is situated southwest of Georgetown, the capital of Guyana. The District has a documented history of alluvial mining in the active river channel and saprolite mining on land adjacent to the river bank. The town of Bartica lies approximately 90 km away, at the intersection of the Essequibo, Mazaruni and Cuyuni Rivers. G2 holds two assets in this district; Peters Mine and Jubilee Mine.
Sandy Lake – One of Ontario’s Last Unexplored Greenstone Belts
The project consists of approximately 51,000 hectares of contiguous units along a 60 km E-W strike length of the Sandy Lake Greenstone Belt (SLGB). The project is 230 km north of Red Lake, Ontario; located within the traditional territories of the Oji-Cree First Nation Communities of Keewaywin and Sandy Lake.
The Company’s current geological interpretive modelling is analogous to the BIF deposit at the Goldcorp Musselwhite Mine located 200 km to the SW. There is huge upside potential with widespread gold mineralization.
